Alicia is an illustrator and designer based out of Northern New Jersey who has a love for adventurous travel, her countless plant-babies, and growing collection of tchotchkes that ranges from tiny and cute to creepy and spooky. Her work has transformed over time, after years of focusing on tactile art forms such as letterpress, screen printing, needlepoint, and embroidery, to experimenting with digital-based creative outlets such as writing HTML. Her love for pattern design has continually grown over the past decade, along with her involvement in the quilting industry. Her quirky fabric collections have become recognizable and unique to her hand as they’ve evolved over the years.

Alicia was lucky to have some creative ladies in her life while growing up who instilled in her a love for painting, sewing, and all things crafty and hand-made. She earned her MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay at the School of Visual Arts and her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Beyond making art, she always enjoys a fierce game of backgammon or scrabble and has two dogs who can usually be found glued to her side.
