Ashley Spires is the author and illustrator of numerous award winning children’s books. She has created many beloved characters, most notably Binky The Space Cat, who is now featured on his own animated television series and The Most Magnificent Thing which has been translated into nineteen languages worldwide and was recently adapted into a short animated film. She strives to create stories with humour and relatable characters. During the rare moments when she is not creating, she enjoys getting outside, drinking tea and fostering kittens. Ashley lives in Delta, British Columbia with her dog and far too many cats.
